Bioavailable Turmeric and Black Pepper

Turmeric has a long history of traditional health uses across many cultures.

In animals it is useful as an anti-inflammatory, pain reliever, antioxidant, digestive aid, liver detoxification enhancer and has anti-tumour effects. Turmeric supplements (see link) also have these effects on people.

For animals it is great for conditions such as arthritis, stiffness and pain, itchy skin conditions and can help to treat sarcoids.

Turmeric is an extremely safe herb, however it is poorly absorbed on its own.

The active constituent – curcumin has enhanced absorption, therefore improved therapeutic effects when given in conjunction with piperine from black pepper. The ratio of turmeric to black pepper in our formula increases absorption by 300 fold.

Ingredients: Curcuma longa L. and Piper nigrum
