Celery is native to Southern Europe and is thought to be calming, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic to the urinary tract. It may aid joint stiffness, arthritis, rheumatism and improve circulation. This nutritious, warming herb supports run down horses with reduced appetite and aids digestion. Celery seeds support the excretion of waste via the kidneys with mild diuretic and hypotensive effects and may also stimulate milk production in mares.
